Walking for Mental Health
We’re really excited that our inaugural Walking for Mental Health event will be held in Brisbane in 2025.
Walking for Mental Health is our inaugural fundraising event to gather funds for the MindShift Foundation and show how walking positively affects our physical and mental health.
Together with the support of Rebel Sport, The Brisbane Powerhouse and Pawpaw Café, our walk will begin at 9.30 am from The Brisbane Powerhouse in New Farm, and continue for approximately 6.5 km along the Brisbane River until we cross the Story Bridge and arrive at Pawpaw Café in East Brisbane. Here we will be treated with cold drinks and Pawpaw Café muffins with all funds raised donated to The MindShift Foundation.
All participants should register for the event and those who do will receive a MindShift Participant Bag consisting of a MindShift/Rebel Sport polo shirt, cap and water bottle, plus other goodies — very kindly donated by Rebel Sport — with donations accepted on the day by collectors. Don’t forget to give what you can as everything you donate helps us do our very important work.
Please arrive at the Brisbane Powerhouse entrance between 8.30 am and 9.30 am to pick up your MindShift Participant bag and meet other like-minded walkers.
